تناول البحث بالتحليل والدراسة ثلاثة نقوش زراعية من نقوش الاستسقاء لقبيلة سبأ كهلان، وكلها مهداة للمعبود إلمقه في معبد أوام بمارب، اثنان منها سبق نشرهما بدون صور (Sh 7, 8= AL-Dhafeef 20, 21)، والثالث غير منشور (AL-Dhafeef 22)، وقد دونت جميعها على الحجر، وتعود إلى فترة ما بعد الميلاد حوالي منتصف القرن الرابع وبداية القرن الخامس الميلادي، وقد تبين من خلال دراستها كيف كانت البنية الاجتماعية والإدارية لمدينة مارب وأن قبيلة سبأ كهلان كانت تتزعم سكان مدينة مارب وأريافها، وأنهم من يملكون ويديرون الأراضي الزراعية في واحة مارب وأوديتها (أذنة ويسران وخبش ورمان وذأفان).
