Overview
يُعنى البحث بدراسة نقشين سبئيين من نقوش الإهداءات النذرية، مهداة للمعبود إلمقه في معبده المسمى شبعان بمدينة نشق (البيضاء) في الجوف (AL-Dhafeef 23; 24)، وتكمن أهمية النقشين كونهما جديدان لم يسبق نشرهما من قبل، فضلاً عما يضيفانه إلى معارفنا عن مدينة نشق (البيضاء) -بوصفها مدينة كانت خاضعة للسبئيين- وعن الأوضاع الاجتماعية والدينية فيها خلال عهد الملك السبئي نشأكرب يهأمن يهرحب (الثاني) ملك سبأ وذي ريدان، حوالي النصف الثاني من القرن الثالث الميلادي.
