يسرد لنا التاريخ العديد من القصص والحكايات عن رجال تركوا بصمة واضحة في حياة شعوبهم ووطنهم، وكان العراق إحداها فقد زخر بالعديد من المحطات المهمة وخاصة في المجال الدبلوماسي والذي مثل الإرادة المهمة في السياسة الخارجية والمحور الأساسي لخدمة المصالح الوطنية وإبراز الصورة الحضارية له من خلال الشخصيات الوطنية والتي كان لها دوراً بارزاً في ذلك المسار، ويعد محمد فاضل الجمالي أحد هؤلاء وابرزهم في العهد الملكي (۱۹۲۱- 1958) والذي كان له دوراً مهماً في مجالات السياسة والدبلوماسية والتربية والتعليم في العراق.
