تناولت هذه الدراسة تقريرات اليوم الآخر في سورة المعارج، بوصفها خطابا قرآنيا يرسخ الإيمان بهذا اليوم في النفوس من خلال عرض إنكار الكافرين وسخريتهم، والرد عليهم بردود تقطع الشك باليقين وتقيم الحجة، كما تناول البحث الشبهات المعاصرة حول اليوم الآخر، التي يتبناها بعض المنتسبين إلى الفكر التنويري، والذين يعيدون تأويل مفاهيم المعاد والجنة والنار تأويلا باطلا، وخلصت الدراسة إلى أن إنكار اليوم الآخر قائم على شبهات فلسفية وعقلية باطلة لا دليل عليها، مؤكدة أن الإيمان به متواتر بالنقل، متفق عليه بين الشرائع السماوية، ومدعوم بالعقل والفطرة السليمة.
