Overview
تطرق البحث الى أبرز مفكري عصر التنوير في مجال التاريخ، وكيفية كتابة الاحداث التاريخية، والتأكيد على اتباع منهج تاريخي والاستفادة من تاريخ الماضي، اذ تأثر كوندرسيه بالمفكرين في أوروبا منهم مونتسكيو وجان جاك روسو، وأن فكرة التاريخ عنده لتقدم منهجية دراسة التاريخ تعد لها أهمية من حيث الزمان والمكان والانسان، ودراسة انتقال الانسان من العزلة والبدوية والتدرج في تطور سير المجتمعات والاحداث التي مرت بالإنسان، وان التقدم لا يعتمد على التخمين وانما بالاعتماد على قوانين ثابته وفق سير تطور الاحداث والاستنارة ودراسة التاريخ وفق منهجية تساعد على فهم التاريخ.
