Overview
تناول هذا البحث أصل الطائفة اليزيدية فيعرض نسبتها، وأماكن انتشارها، ونسبتها ومركزها الرئيس، والكتب المقدسة لدى هذه الطائفة وعقيدتها. وماز تشترك فيه مع طوائف أخرى. ويهدف البحث إلى عرض أقوالهم واعتقاداتهم ويعقب ذلك ردود طائفة من العلماء عليهم المنكرة لأفكارهم ومعتقداتهم. يتبع هذا البحث المنهج الاستقرائي الذي يقوم بتتبع عقائد هذه الطائفة وعرضها ومن ثم الرد عليها والتعليق، ومعرفة أماكن وجودها ومن يدعمها، وذلك من خلال المصادر والمراجع وكل من تناولها بالبحث والدراسة. وقد خلص البحث إلى أن طائفة اليزيدية بما لها من شعائر وممارسات عقدية ليست من طوائف المسلمين.
