تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية إلى دراسة موضوع السفر من حيث الانفراد فيه والاشتراك للرجل والمرأة، عن طريق دراسة تأصيلية ترمي إشكاليتها الرئيسية إلى الكشف عن الحكم الشرعي لكل حالة من خلال تفصيل أقوال العلماء وسبب الخلاف بينهم في تلك المسائل، مع بيان دليل كل رأي فقهي- بغرض الخلوص إلى القول الراجح في ذلك -، وكذا تسليط الضوء على المقاصد الشرعية للاشتراك في السفر، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى مجموعة من النتائج أهمها أن اعتبار الاشتراك في السفر له أهداف مقاصدية تشوفت الشريعة إلى تحقيقها.
