Overview
حاولت في هذه الدراسة الوقوف على محاولات نوري السعيد المتكررة بين عامي(١٩٣٣-١٩٤٣)، لتحقيق المشروع الذي تبناه لتوحيد بلاد الشام مع العراق فـي دولـة واحدة، مع التركيز على ماهية المشروع، الذي برز بشكل واضح وعملي في بداية عـام١٩٤٣، وإبراز طبيعة الموقفين العربي والدولي، اللذين ساهما مع أسباب أخـرى، فـي إفشال مساعي السعيد، ووضع حد لنشاطاته الوحدوية، واستبدال المشروع بإعلان قيـام جامعة الدول العربية. معتمدا في ذلك على الوثـائق البريطانيـة والدراسات العربية والأجنبية المتخصصة.
