هدف المقال إلى استعراض موضوع عن رحلات يحيى الغزال للأندلس من خلال المضامين والأهمية التاريخية. وأوضح المقال أن أبو زكريا يحي بن الحكم البكري الملقب بـ \" الغزال\" أحد رجالات الاندلس المشهورين في الأدب على امتداد الوجود الإسلامي بها. و\" الغزال\" هو اللقب الذي اشتهر به لجماله وظرفه وأناقته. وذكر المقال أنه كان أحد الشخصيات المشهورة في عصر الإمارة الأموية، وكان من المحظيين عند الأمير عبد الرحمن (الثاني أو الأوسط) بن الحكم بن هشام، وكان متوليا أحد مناصب المالية في دولته. كما أشار المقال إلى أنه قد عمر طويلا، حتى قارب المئة، وأتاح له ذلك العمر المديد، معاصرة الأمراء الأمويين الخمسة وهم: عبد الرحمن الداخل، هشام الرضا، الحكم بن هشام، عبد الرحمن الثاني أو الأوسط، وأخيرا محمد بن عبد الرحمن. وأستعرض المقال عدة رحلات مختلفة؛ وختاما تحدث عن أنه من الطبيعي أنه لا خلاف على قيمة الرحلة الثالثة تحديدا من الناحية الأدبية، وإن كان الأثر الذى بين أيدينا عنها ضئيل يسير. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
