يتضمن البحث دراسة بعض الوثائق القانونية الأرامية المكتشفة في كل من سورية ومصر. ويعالج الوثائق القانونية الأرامية المكتشفة في سورية -وهي قليلة جدا-وتتعلق ببعض نظم القانون العام والخاص. ويحلل الوثائق القانونية الآرامية المكتشفة في مصر، ويحدد ماهيتها ومدى دلالتها على القانون الآرامي، ويرد على مزاعم الباحثين الإسرائيليين في شان هذه الوثائق، ويعرض لنماذج من العقود الأرامية المكتشفة في مصر مع تحليلها وبيان دلالاتها.
