تتناول هذه الدراسة شاعر من شعراء الحركة القومية اليهودية المسماة (محبة صهيون) ألا وهو نفتالي هيرتس ايمبر شاعر النشيد الوطني الإسرائيلي (الأمل) هو شاعر صهيوني، عبر في قصائده القومية عن أفكار وإيديولوجيات الحركة الصهيونية وكان مبشراً لها. اشتهر بكتابته لقصائد سميت \"بشعر الجوقة\" لأنها كانت قصائد ذات أسلوب ولغة بدائية وركيكة من الناحية الفنية، ولا تعدو كونها أناشيد شعبية غنائية لأحياء الشعور القومي اليهوي. إن \"شعر الجوقة\" هو ظاهرة شعرية برزت في الفترة الانتقالية ما بين حركة التنور اليهودية \"الهسكالاه\" وحركة الأحياء الصهيوني في الشعر العبري الحديث. ومن خلاله نحى الشعر العبري منحى جديد، اذ ان ما كان يسمى فردية عند شعر الهسكالاه تحول إلى تعبير قومي عند شعراء الجوقة القومية. تعبير مشترك بين يصعب التميز فيه بين صوت الشاعر وصوت الجماهير .
