Overview
Information is now one of the corner stone of our current life. However, such information becomes insignificant if those who are to deal with it have no timely or adequate access to it. Agriculture is the pillar on which development in the Sudan is based. Accordingly, it has always been necessary to pay attention to agricultural information due to the vital role it plays in various fields. Therefore, several institutions which process agricultural information have been established and developed in Khartoum state. The Researcher has note that, the institution which process agricultural information have experienced shortage in Human and technological cadre. Thus, resulting in inadequacy of the information services they offer. All these reasons consider agricultural information institution in Khartoum state. The Researcher then puts forth a proposal for the establishment of National Center for Agricultural Information in which the latest technologies are used in order to develop and promote agriculture sector in Sudan. The approach of the study for collecting data for the study of the status in the Agricultural information institution is the Social Survey.
