Overview
يشترك كل من تعليم المواطنة الديمقراطية والاستيعاب في روح شعبية عامة، ولغة تقوم على الاهتمام بحقوق الإنسان، والعدالة الاجتماعية، والإحساس بالمجتمع. وكلاهما يهدف إلى بناء ارتباطات ديمقراطية. ولكن من الإنصاف أن نقول: إن معلمي المواطنة ومؤيدي الاستيعاب إما أنهم قد تحدثوا مع بعضهم البعض، أو أنهم لم يتحدثوا مع بعضهم البعض منذ وقت طويل. ويقدم هذا المقال إطار عمل متعدد الأبعاد يمكن من خلاله أن يسهم معلمو المواطنة ومؤيدو الاستيعاب في برامج عمل مشتركة، باحثين عن مدارس عادلة اجتماعيا وديمقراطية.
