* المسلمون عامة، والقادة المسلمون خاصة، تعرضوا في كثير من الأحيان لانتقادات حادة بسبب توانيهم عن الإمعان في إدانة أعمال المتطرفين المسلمين العنيفة. * إن المتطرفين العنيفين هم على جانب من جوانب المجتمع المسلم، وتوازنهم حركة متنامية من صناع السلام المسلمين. * الأمر البارز بروز نزعة القتال الإسلامية، لكنه ملحوظ بدرجة أقل هو: أ - إدانة المسلمين للإرهاب وأعمال العنف الأخرى إدانة واسعة النطاق \" ب -تشجيع حوار الأديان \" ج -تثقيف النشء المسلم وإعادة تثقيف المسلمين المتطرفين؛ د -تشجيع الحل السلمي للصراع.
