يسعى المقال الراهن دراسة موضوع اضطرابات اللغة والتواصل من عدة جوانب، تتمثل في تعريف اللغة، والإلمام ببعض مميزاتها والتعرف على نظريات تعلمها وكيف ينطلق الطفل من اكتساب اللغة من البسيط إلى المعقد ومن السهل إلى الصعب، وكذا الكشف عن متطلبات النمو اللغوي ثم التطرق إلى اضطرابات اللغة والتواصل وإبراز الخصائص السلوكية لها، والتعرف علـى تصنيفها وأخير تناول بعض الطرق لتشخيصيها وعلاجها.
