إن التقارير الدورية الواردة من لجنة بازل، إضافة إلى تصريحات مسؤوليها، وكذا توقعات الخبراء، إضافة إلى الخلافات في تطبيق بازل 3، تفيد بأن هناك تعديلات قادمة في الأفق، ومادامت المسألة تتعلق بجميع أنواع المخاطر، الائتمانية والسوقية والتشغيلية، فقد ينجم عنها وباحتمال كبير فرض زيادات معتبرة في متطلبات رأس المال. ويبقى السؤال الأهم: هل تصمد الاتفاقية الحالية إلى غاية نهاية أجلها المقرر للتطبيق الكامل بحلول سنة 2019، أم يتم التعجيل بتعديلها باتفاقية بازل 4؟ الأيام والشهور القادة كفيلة بالإجابة
