عرضت في هذا البحث لمفهوم الشفاعة، وأنها خلق نبيل كان سائدا قبل الإسلام وجاء الإسلام فأكده وحض عليه. وخصصت هذا البحث للشفاعة الحسنة بين الناس في الدنيا، وميزت بينها وبين الشفاعة السيئة، وذكرت حكمها وضابطها، وبينت آثارها في الفرد والمجتمع، وذكرت فضل الشافع بخير في القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية ليكون باعثا على هذا الصنيع، مدعما ذلك بذكر مجالاتها في ضوء السنة النبوية على صعيد الحياة الاجتماعية والمعاملات المالية.
