Overview
The banking variables that the globalization reflected on the per formance of banks, had led to spread the idea of universal banks, which meant the expansion of banking business and its entering in many fields which were related to other financial intermediation, and to collect many works in one department spreading the risks and facing the competition . to keep up with this trend, Algeria begun in adopting a package of reforms, included several segments specialy banks and insurances sectors, through the law 06-04 dated in 20/02/2006 amended and supplemented to the Law 95-07 dated in 25/01/1995 , which provided an important stimulus measures, such as allowing banks to market insurance products and thus opening up Algeria on the bancassurance by making several partnership agreements between banks and insurance companies with the beginning of 2008 .
