إن المعرفة في عالم اليوم لها مكان الصدارة والاهتمام. ويحدث صراع شرس بين الدول حول امتلاك تكنولوجيا المعلومات وكيفية معالجتها وتطويرها. والتكنولوجيا هي الحل الوحيد والواقعي لحل مشكلات العالم، بيد أن الإسهام العربي مازال محدودا على المستويات القومية إلا أن متنامي وفاعل على المستوى الفردي. وجدير بالعرب أن يركزوا حضورهم للحاق بركب المعرفة لكي يكون لهم الصدارة في مجريات الأحداث العالمية.
