Overview
The banking system in Egypt faced many Problems and financial development leads to many effects and changes on the last two decades, the Expectations refers that this developments will be continued through the current decade all this effects on the national economy for this reasons we need to restructure Egyptian banking system. This study aimed to discusse the main element of the process of resturcturing Egyption banking system by studying the following: 1 - The meaning of restructuring banking, reasons and stages . 2 - The international experience of restructuring banking . 3 - restructuring Egyption banking system and how to increase its competitiveness. The main results in this study is : - The banking restructuring will lead to improve the effe- ciency and the competitiveness of the bonking system and improve the situation of the national economy. this program will increase the capital flow and increasing the rate of development on the national economy . - the study approaches to determine problems facing banking and suggest the tools to prevent this problems . - the establishment date of the study is based on nonper forming loan in the bonking system , deals with it in the reasonable time and benefits from the international experiences in dealing with non performing loan to make good loans profits. - It is necessary to use. The professional management to deal with: bonking risk, liquidity credit risk assessment. - by finishing the assessment of banking restrucring program, the government will sell some public banks with consideration a good control and supervision on the banking system.
