تتناول هذه الدراسة أثر حضور الإبل في بنية الخطاب النقدي العربي، وتموضعها في منعطفاته، وقد انسرب هذا الأثر فيما يمكن وسمه بالتبعية النقدية التي هيمنت على الخطاب النقدي في إطاره العام، ومن ثم في المقاييس النقدية التي احتكم إليها الخطاب النقدي العربي في سيرورته من مثل الفحولة، والطبقات، وأظهر ما جاء أثر الإبل في المصطلح النقدي، فكانت القصيدة والراوية والشوارد والتمليط والتعويص وغيرها.
