Overview
تسعي الدراسة إلى رصد معوقات الترقية الأكاديمية، معتمدة على الإطار النظري الذي قدمه بييربورديو ومستعرضا لمفهومين نظريين هما رأس المال الثقافي ورأس المال الاجتماعي، وتنتمي هذه الدراسة إلى الدراسات الوصفية التحليلية وقد اعتمد على عينة قوامها 56 مفردة، سحبت من جامعة تعز، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى عدد من النتائج التي توضح معوقات الترقية في جامعة تعز كان أبرزها: هو تدني حالة البحث العلمي غير المرضية، هذا فضلا عن تفشي المعوقات المؤسسية التي تواجه أعضاء هيئة التدريس.
