يجب أن تتوافر فيمن يروي الحديث عن النبي صلي الله عليه وسلم شروط، يكون بها أهلا لروايتها، ولما كانت رواية الصغار للحديث مثار خلاف بين العلماء، وكان منهم المجيز، ومنهم المجيز، ومنهم المانع، كان لا بد لنا من إفراد هذه المسألة بالبحث، لاستعراض أقوال العلماء وحججهم فيها، فكان هذا البحث الذي يجلي جوانبها.
