سلطت الورقة الضوء علي سجل الندوة العلمية بعنوان عبد الله العثيمين مؤرخاً وأديباً المنعقدة في الأمانة العامة لجائزة الملك فيصل العالمية؛ حيث جمع الدكتور عبد الله العثيمين صفات عدة في ثقافته فهو المؤرخ والمترجم والأديب والشاعر والحامل لهموم أمته والذي سطر مشاعره تجاهها في كتبه ومقالاته وأشعاره. وأشارت الورقة عن حديث الأستاذ الدكتور عبد العزيز بن صالح عن ميدان تخصص العثيمين في الدراسات العليا وهو التاريخ الحديث للجزيرة العربية، ثم أشارت الي إنجازاته في مجال الترجمة وفي مجال الأدب والشعر. كما تطرقت الورقة الي الهم العربي عند عبد الله العثيمين والي كلمات الشكر والعرفان للدكتور العثيمين. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
