Overview
نجحت سنغافورة بعد انفصالها عن ماليزيا في العام 1965 في تحويل بلدها من دولة ضعيفة إلى دولة قوية بفضل السياسات الناجحة والمتوازنة التي طبقتها البلاد طوال السنوات الماضية والتي جعلت منها أبرز الاقتصاديات العالمية. أدرك قادة سنغافورة منذ وقت مبكر أن التنمية في الجانب الاجتماعي ستكون مكملة للتنمية في الجانب الاقتصادي لكونه العنصر الأساسي الذي تعتمد عليه عملية التنمية والمرتكز الرئيسي الذي يدعم تفوق الدول على المستويين الإقليمي والعالمي، وهذا التمازج الفعال جعل تجربة سنغافورة التنموية مثالا يحتذى به في كيفية بناء الدولة ودعم الاستقرار والنمو فيها.
