Overview
يعد المصطلح مبحثا دقيق المسلك كثير الفائدة، ولهذا شغلت قضاياه حيزا كبيرا في الدراسات الحديثة، ولقد شهد تراثنا العربي القديم دراسات في المصطلحات، إلا أنها كانت تطبيقية فقد كانت العلاقة بين النحوي ولغته كعلاقة الحرفي بحرفته، ولعل ما أورده عالم العربية سيبويه في الكتاب لأدل دليل على أن علماء العربية قد تفطنوا إلى دراسة المصطلح، على الرغم من غياب تأسيس نظري لهذا العلم، لأنهم كانوا يتعاملون مع اللغة بصفة عملية تطبيقية، وقد وقع اختيارنا في هذا العمل على دراسة المنصوبات في الكتاب لسيبويه من منظور علم لمصطلح، وإخضاع هذه المصطلحات إلى الدراسة اللغوية والمفهومية لتوضيح العلاقة القائمة بين المصطلحات ومسمياتها.
