يهدف البحث إلى تناول قضية الحوكمة الشرعية في تطبيقات التورق لدى المؤسسات المالية المعاصرة، وتكمن أهميته في أن التورق من العقود الشرعية المهمة التي ازداد ابتكار منتجات وأدوات مصرفية معاصرة على أساسها، ويتناول بورصة السلع الماليزية أنموذجا للدراسة في محاولة معاصرة رائدة في مجال تطبيق التورق المعاصر وفق نظم ولوائح وتعليمات وإجراءات معينة يلزم اتباعها ضمانا لتحقيق الحوكمة الشرعية فيها - كما يتوخى منظموها - ومن ثم ستحلل تطبيقات التورق في تلك البورصة في ضوء المعايير الشرعية اللازمة، مما يبين مدى سيادة الحوكمة الشرعية في تلك البورصة، والتعرف على الإشكاليات الشرعية حولها، والبحث عن سبل معالجتها.
