Overview
أصبحت دراسات أدب الرحلات الجغرافية من الدراسات الاجتماعية المهمة وخاصة الوصفية منها والعلمية والتي رفدتنا بمعلومات قيمة عن بعض البلدان من الناحية الجغرافية والسكانية والاقتصادية والعلمية فضلاً عن العادات والتقاليد للشعوب التي يمر بها هؤلاء الرحالة وأصفين هذه المجتمعات وطريقة معيشتهم وأعمالهم فضلاً عن عاداتهم وتقاليدهم التي يمرون بها، تحدثت الدراسة عن حياة الرحالة ابن جبير فضلاً عن المجالس الوعظ التي حضرها في مكة المكرمة ومدينة بغداد ودمشق.
