Overview
يقوم التسويق على أربع عناصر أساسية، تتكامل فيما بينها لتحقيق استراتيجية المنظمة. والسعر هو أحد هذه العناصر وأكثرها مرونة، كما أنه العنصر الوحيد الذي يدر أموالاً مقارنة بباقي العناصر التي تمثل تكاليف تتحملها المنظمة. بالمقابل نجد أن السعر هو الأكثر تعقيداً نظراً لكثرة المتغيرات المحيطة به والتي تجعل إمكانية تحديده أو بالأحرى اختيار السعر المناسب أمر صعب جداً خصوصا في الوقت الحالي أين أشارت الدراسات التسويقية بأن عامل السعر العامل الأكثر أهمية في سلوك الاختيار الشرائي للمستهلك.
