Overview
The failure of the state in Somalia, has become commonplace For East African observers, But looking at Somalia's map and its capabilities shows that failure is surprising, How can a state with such human and natural; potentials and religious homogeneity have this status quo? This study seeks to answer a key question of why the state in Somalia remains hostage to failure and terrorism by reading the initial indicators of the state in Somalia, and then stand on the reality and map of political Islam in the Somali conflict, And the extent to which political Islam has failed to realize the dream of the lost state since the fall of the regime of Siad Barre in the early nineties, and what is the future of the state in light of the current challenges.
