اهتم هذا البحث بالكشف عن الخصائص المورفومترية لحوض وادي زراوة باستخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية وتتمثل هذه الخصائص بـ (المساحية والشكلية والتضاريسية والتصريف المائي وغيرها) تم استخدام الخريطة الجيولوجية وخريطة حدود منطقة الدراسة مقياس (1:1000000) وتم استخدام برنامج (Arc Map 10.3) للخرائط الكنتورية وأساليب التحليل الكمي لظواهر السطح المختلفة ويمكن من خلالها تم إنشاء قاعدة بيانات للحوض إذ بلغت مساحة الحوض (392) كم2 وطول (30.5) كم ويتكون الحوض من مجموعة أحواض بلغت (488) حوضاً وتم تمييز ثلاثة أنماط للتصريف المائي.
