Overview
تتناول الدراسة مقارنة نص الميثاق العربي لحقوق الإنسان بالمعايير العالمية لحقوق الإنسان من ناحية الحقوق المدنية والسياسية، ونقصد بذلك مقارنته بالعهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية الصادر عن الأمم المتحدة سنة 1966، وذلك من أجل التعرف على مدى رغبة وجدية الدول العربية في وضع نظام إقليمي فعال لحفظ وحماية حقوق الإنسان، واكتشاف نقاط القوة والضعف في الحماية المقررة بموجب الميثاق العربي لحقوق الإنسان.
