يعد المصطلح لغة العلم أو مفتاح العلوم على حد قول القدامى لذا فإن من أهم وظائفه أن يكون شفرة للتواصل وتبليغ المعارف وأي خلل في هذا المصطلح سيؤدي حتما إلى الإخلال بعملية التواصل العلمي تلك والمتتبع اليقظ في حقل النقد الأدبي العربي الحديث يلمس اضطرابا مصطلحيا واضحا مما أدى إلى الارتباك والفوضى والغموض في هذا الحقل وقد حاولنا من خلال بحثنا هذا الوقوف على بعض مظاهر هذا الاضطراب والبحث عن مسبباته لنتمكن في الأخير من إيجاد بعض الحلول التي يمكنها التخفيف من حدة هذه الفوضى الاصطلاحية.
