Overview
The' importance of studying the economic effects of road accidents in Egypt comes for limiting how investment can be done properly as much as possible and promoting the standard of traffic safety. The study has dealt with searching the causes of road accidents in Egypt and the economic effects resulting from them either the ones connected with human losses resulting from the deaths or the injuries or those connected with the damage connected with private or public properties. This study has modernized the numbers of costs, which the previous local literates brought about using the inflation rates. The study estimates the average cost of road accidents in Egypt through five years from 2009 to 2013 by about 14354, 75 million pounds. The study has also offered a strategy for raising the standard-of traffic safety and. selecting the aspects, which influence it.
