لقد هام الشعراء بالطبيعة منذ العصور الأولى؛ وحاولوا جعلها موطن إلهام، وانكبوا على وصفها بكل دقة وافتتان، وقد وظفوا مصطلحاتها في أشعارهم، فأصبحت القصائد عندهم طبيعة متحدثة، ولم يخرج من دائرة عشاق الطبيعة هؤلاء شعراء القصيدة الشعبية في الجزائر، حيث استخدم الشاعر الشعبي \"أحمد وليد بن القبي\" في قصائده معجما طبيعيا، ونقل الطبيعة الحية للمتلقين، فجاءت أبياته مشحونة بعواطف شتى، تثير فينا شعورا بالراحة والطمأنينة والثقة بالنفس، وتجعلنا نحس بصدق تجربته.
