تبين هذه الدراسة أن المرأة المسلمة في المجتمع المدني في العهد النبوي نالت حقوقها كاملة، سواء كان ذلك على مستوى الحقوق الإنسانية والاجتماعية، أم الحقوق التجارية والسياسة. وقد لقيت من المجتمع التعاون معها في قضاء حاجاتها ومراعاة مشاعرها، وكانت في المكانة اللائقة بها. كما شاركت في المناسبات الاجتماعية والدينية، وأسهمت في التعليم والطب، ومارست التجارة، وأظهرت رأيها في الأمور السياسية والعسكرية، وراجعت في الشأن العام وأخذت نصيبها من الغنائم، وقبلت شفاعتها في الأسرى.
