Overview
ظاهرة التطور الدلالي هي تغيير الألفاظ لمعانيها؛ ذلك أن الألفاظ ترتبط بدلالتها ضمن علاقة متبادلة فيحدث التطور كلما حدث تغير في هذه العلاقة من خلال التغيير في علاقة التلازم والملازمة الموجودة بين طرفي الدليل اللغوي: الصورة الصوتية والصورة الذهنية، سواء بانتفاء هذا التلازم من خلال ارتباط الصورة الصوتية بصورة ذهنية جديدة على حساب الصورة الذهنية القديمة، أو بتنوع العلاقات التلازمية فيصبح للصورة الصوتية الواحدة أكثر من صورة ذهنية.
