تناولت هذه الورقة موضوع الهدية لما لها من عظيم الأثر في استجلاب المحبة وإثبات المودة وإذهاب الضغائن وتأليف القلوب، وهي دليل على الحب وصفاء القلوب، وفيها إشعار بالتقدير والاحترام. وانطلاقاً من هذا فقد تم اختيار موضوع هذه الورقة (حكم الهدية في الإسلام). وأهم الأهداف من هذه الورقة بيان استحباب قبول الهدية، والإثابة عليها؛ مقابلة للجميل بمثله أو أفضل منه. واعتبار تبادل الهدايا جزء من النظام الاجتماعي. وتوضيح أن الأولى بالإهداء إليه الأقرب فالأقرب كالوالدين والأبناء والأخوة والأزواج والجيران، والأصدقاء، من الأغنياء والفقراء، وقبول هدية المسلم للكافر والكافر للمسلم. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها هذه الورقة أن هناك فرقا ظاهرا بين الهدية والرشوة؛ فإن الرشوة تدمر أخلاق الأفراد أما الهدية فإنما تنمي أخلاق الأفراد.
