تناولت هذه الدراسة إمكانية توظيف الحكاية الشعبية السودانية في المسرح السوداني. هل يمكن توظيف الحكاية الشعبية لتكون معين قوي وجاد للعمل الدرامي؟ فالموضوعات التي ينشغل بها المجتمع الشعبي اليوم تنحصر في المحاولة لتغير كل ظواهر الحياة المعاشة وخاصة تلك التي تتعرض لمتغيرات الحياة، والتي تعبر عن حرص الأنسان الشعبي للمحافظة على القيم التي يخشى فقدانها في زحمة المتغيرات الجديدة.
