يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة التوازن العام للاقتصاد الجزائري عبر تحديد القيم التوازنية للناتج الوطني، سعر الفائدة والمستوى العام للأسعار التي تحقق التوازن الداخلي والتوازن الخارجي في آن واحد انطلاقا من تقدير نموذج التوازن العام في الاقتصاد المفتوح المعروف بنموذج IS-LM-BP وهو أحد النماذج المستوحاة من النظرية الاقتصادية الكينزية التي تناولت موضوع التوازن الاقتصادي العام. وقد خلص البحث إلى إمكانية تحقيق التوازن الكلي للاقتصاد الوطني عند مستوى مرتفع من الناتج الداخلي الخام ومستويات، منخفضة من سعر الفائدة والتضخم.
