يعالج هذا البحث ما يظهر من عيوب في العناصر المعنوية للنظام المعلوماتي، ويجيب عن تساؤل مفاده، هل تكفي القواعد العامة في نظرية العيب الخفي بصورتها التقليدية لمعالجة ما يظهر من عيوب في النظام المعلوماتية، أم إننا بحاجة إلى قواعد جديدة تكون أكثر استجابة من القواعد التقليدية لمعالجة العيوب التي تظهر في المكونات المنطقية أو المعنوية لنظام المعلوماتية.
