Overview
يتناول البحث دراسة 67 أداة من أدوات الطحن المكتشفة في موقع دير ورق، التي تشتمل على 24 أداةً كاملة و 43 قطعة مكسورة. وتتميز أدوات الطحن المكتشفة بسيطرة المدقات المصنوعة من البازلت، وقد أسفرت الدراسة عن تصنيف المدقات في أربع مجموعات اعتماداً على شكلها وهي الأسطوانية، القمعية، قمة مدببة، ودائرية الشكل. ودلت المقارنات على وجود مدقات مشابهة لتلك المكتشفة في دير ورق التي تؤرخ إلى العصر الحجري الحديث قبل الفخاري \"أ\".
