Overview
تؤثر الاضطرابات الجسدية على الحالة النفسية والمزاجية للفرد، فهي قد تفقده توازنه وتسبب له التوتر النفسي، وفي الحالات الشديدة قد تؤدي إلى العزلة والشعور بالعجز واليأس، وعدم الراحة. وبهذا فالمريض يعاني بالإضافة إلى علته العضوية معاناة نفسية قد تزيد من حدة مرضه. لذا فقد هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى محاولة توضيح دور المساندة الاجتماعية في تحسين الحالة الصحية للمريض وتسريع شفاءه. وقد تم ذلك من خلال توضيح مفهوم المساندة الاجتماعية وأهميتها بالنسبة للمريض، ثم أهم أشكال المساندة الممكن تقديمها له، ثم طرق تقديمها وعلاقتها بالحالة الصحية للمريض.
