هذه الدراسة تجيب عن سؤال: ما جدوى الحوار الحضاري في وجهة نظر المسلمين. وما معوقات فاعلية الأقليات المسلمة في هذا الحوار، وما محفزات هذه الفاعلية؟. وقد بينت في التمهيد مدلول مصطلح الأقليات المسلمة، ومدلول مصطلح الحوار الحضاري، وجدوى هذا الحوار في وجهة نظر المسلمين. وذكرت في المبحث الأول معوقات فاعلية الأقليات المسلمة في الحوار الحضاري، وهي: الإيمان بضرورة الحوار، وإدراك أنه يعني الاعتراف بالآخر، وإدراك أن فضاء هذا الحوار لا حدود له. وفي المبحث الثاني بينت محفزات فاعلية الأقليات المسلمة في الحوار الحضاري، وهي: استيعاب رصيد التجربة التاريخية، وتقديم بوادر حسن النوايا، وامتلاك الوعي، وتدارك نقص الخيرة، بالإضافة إلى الأصالة والتميز.
