Overview
Kirikkale Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Parazitoloji Anabilim Dali Laboratuvari'na ayni fakültenin bir ögrencisi tarafindan tüyleri üzerinde çok sayida siyah renkli akarlarin bulundugu sikâyeti ile 3-4 aylik erkek bir kobay getirilmistir. Mikroskobik muayene sonucu bu akarin Chirodiscoides caviae oldugu belirlenmistir. Bu olgu Türkiye'de ilk kez bildirilmistir. Hayvan fipronil ile tedavi edilmistir.
