Overview
The study's data was collected from respondents in Jakarta city and its surrounding area (Greater Jakarta), with 39% of them falling within the age group of over 45 years old. To achieve a more comprehensive conclusion, data may be gathered from three major cities in Java Island. Furthermore, a stimulating future study could investigate a more extensive range of respondents from millennials and Gen Z. As these age groups are recognized to exhibit varying shopping behaviors and technological savviness. Originality/value: Numerous studies have investigated users' intentions to shop online using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). However, the role of perceived security of web payment as an external variable has not been extensively explored. This study employs TAM model to evaluate the role of secure payment on users' intentions to shop online on web sites.
