Overview
A pin consists of an image, a description of the image, and the link to the website where the image originated. Since the image is the dominant content that viewers see, Pinterest is quite visually appealing. According to BBC Active, “Pinterest can also be a great tool for use in education. Compile content, including educational video Organise and store ideas Connect and comment on students’ work Make connections with other teachers and get ideas for future projects Create group projects: community boards can be perfect for collaborative projects” (2010, p.1).
