Overview
«Sin embargo -sigue escribiendo Moradiellos-, la faceta más atroz de esa política reaccionaria fue la sistemática represión desplegada en la retaguardia sobre todos los enemigos internos o desafectos reales o potenciales. Esa confusión entre una institución religiosa y la acción libre de sus miembros en la vida social y política aparece en otros momentos del libro: así, cuando, al estudiar el «sustrato doctrinal del caudillaje» de Franco, se cita «una obra influyente de José Zafra Valverde, miembro del Opus Dei y catedrático de Derecho Político en la Universidad de Navarra» (pp. 225-226), cuya identificación con el Movimiento conocíamos y respetábamos sus alumnos sin por ello compartirla la mayor parte de nosotros. Ha sido también profesor e investigador en la University of London y profesor en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
