Overview
Kindliche Notfälle im Kreißsaal erfordern unmittelbares und zielgerichtetes Handeln. Übergeordnetes Ziel des prozessualen Gelingens von Perinatologie ist eine schonende und sichere Entbindung. Dabei liegt das Augenmerk bezogen auf den Schutz des Kindes im Besonderen auf der Vermeidung von Schwangerschafts- und Geburtstraumata (z. B. Schulterdystokie), der Verhinderung intrapartaler kindlicher Verletzungen sowie der Prävention von fetalen Sauerstoffmangelsituationen (z. B. durch mechanische Entbindungshindernisse oder Nabelschnurkomplikationen). Geburtshilfliche Ergebnisqualität erwächst dabei aus risikoadaptiertem Erkennen, Vermeiden und Behandeln dieser wenngleich nur seltenen, aber schwerwiegenden Notfallkonstellationen. Die Grundlagen durchschlagenden Managementerfolgs werden dabei in der Etablierung und Verwendung institutionsspezifischer Notfallalgorithmen in Verbindung mit regelmäßigem Simulationstraining gelegt.
