Overview
The year 2024 has been one of catastrophes across the globe-the devastating violence of wars, famines, floods, wildfires-all directly or indirectly brought about by human beings. Earl Ingersoll was the editor of Doris Lessing: Conversations (Ontario Review Press, 1994, 2000), and, among other activities with the Society, served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Doris Lessing Studies. Doris Lessing called herself and her generation \"children of violence,\" those who survived the First World War and came of age in the Second.
